Hi Hau, did you have a good time today? Ya I am old time Dennis now staying in Shenzhen for better wind! I have 5 days of solid kiting in Mui Ne. It was 15 kns average and blowing 15-25 knots today I guess. Though we have lumpy sea and gusty wind, I have no complaint as the wind seems to blow everyday.
To go to MuiNe, you can take airpot taxi to Mui Ne for about US80, but to go for budget, I take taxi for US 6 to bus station outside Sainh Cafe at De Thame Street which cost US 4 per head to Mui Ne. Plenty of room for gears.4.5 hr trip.Tell driver to stop at Full Moon Hotel when you buy the ticket. Hope this help.

| Sorry JC, my mistake as ah Wai also kite at Sha Ha that day. Hope to join, though I mainly kite in Southeast asia like Boracay and Huahin, will try MuiNe Vietnam tomorrow. Will report if poosible. |

we just test the route yesterday and found feasible for down-wind riding, and the wind over the route is much stable and bit stronger than Sha Ha. If u can keep board-reaching, u can have a safety stop at Pak Sha Chau where u can rest, fix your set-up etc. If not, you can pass between Sai Kung Pier and Yeung Chau, then to Little Palm.
We go as a group next time so u can be well looked after, mate...
(If the wind is stable & strong as Satarday, better to do it at Sha Ha!) |
