"Save our Playgrounds" - for many years now this has been one of our main guidelines. We are constantly exploring new technologies to build our boards more sustainable, more ecological without sacrificing the performance.

From the very first runs hooked into the harness all the way to full planing power gybes, the Gecko Eco will always help you along the way. The rather thin and wide shape has been subtly adapted. Its volume is perfectly distributed for a stable and at the same time very sportive ride. The Gecko Eco is extremely easy to ride but offers a very sporty and direct feel.

For years now all Fanatic boards have been laminated with Sicomin bio resin. The Gecko Eco takes this concept quite a step further. Built with flax, bamboo and cork instead of the classic fiberglass/PVC sandwich construction, we come a lot closer to a truly eco-friendly process.

Of course, the Gecko Eco features all the characteristics of the regular HRS construction. However, the materials incorporated in the construction, create a completely unique flex behavior. The board is by no means just an ecological gimmick! In addition to a stunning look this fun machine also feels loose and agile under your feet.

Built with Flax, Cork, Bamboo and Bio Resin instead of the classic Glass and PVC sandwich, our Eco technology uses sustainable plant based raw materials wherever possible, without compromising performance.
