The Blast is our performance freeride board. It offers blistering acceleration, but also a stable platform to drive from, giving you tons of speed and control over chop.
Push as gentle or as hard as you want in the corners, the Blast responds immediately while keeping the speed right through the gybe, with ease.

The individual cut-out design in the tail section improves speed and acceleration for a smoother ride in choppy conditions. A slightly longer and wider outline of the sizes 117 & 132 ensures early planing and fast consistent gybes. The smaller pulled in tail and nose results in better acceleration and top speed.

Due to the thin rails, the Blast HRS can be gybed aggressively in experienced hands but also very easily for intermediate riders due to the wide tail. The narrower width (compared to equivalent freeride boards) supplies an increased level of efficiency.

The Blast HRS is built in our budget-friendly High Resistance construction for everyday use and is available in four sizes: 100, 117, 132, 147l.

All sizes are approved for foil use, which makes it the perfect crossover freeride board for Windsurfing and Wind Foiling.

High Resistance composite technology is a durable construction for everyday use. A thick, durable outer skin gives the hull maximum strength, as well as making it ding and impact resistant. Strategic use of fibre reinforcements ensure adequate stiffness. In combination with the user-friendly EVA deck, HRS can be seen on the standard Gecko, as well as the Viper / Ripper ranges.
